Set Up
| 1. Plug it in. * Do NOT use an undersized extension cord.
|
|
2. Pull down on the sleeve of the silver posts (Quick Disconnects or QDs) to release the QD Adapters
|
|
|
3. Fit the adapter back into the post and push down to lock it back into place.
|
|
4. Screw the QD Adapter finger tight into the big end of the coiled airhose.
|
|
* Note: If a leak is found later on, use a wrench to tighten the adapter to the airhose.
|
5. Screw the airhose onto the airbrush.
* Note: If using a different brand airbrush screw the appropriate adapter into the airhose, then screw the airbrush into the adapter.
* Note: You should not need Teflon Tape, Pipe Dope, of Beeswax to seal any of the airhose connections, but if an air leak is found these are options to seal it up.

6. Push the airhose QD adapter into the QD Socket on the back of the compressor. You should hear and feel it click into place.

Using the compressor
1. Push the power button. * You will see the button light up. If there is no air in the air tank then the compressor engine will turn on and fill up the tank.

2. Adjust the air pressure up or down.
1. Pull up on the black knob to unlock it.
2. Twist clockwise to raise the pressure.

| 3. Twist counter-clockwise to lower the pressure. * Note: There's a + and - sign on top of the knob with arrows to remind you which direction does what.

| 4. After you've obtained the desired pressure, push down on the knob to lock it in place. * Note: The regulators come from the factory set at 100psi (keep twisting counter-clockwise until the gauge starts to move)

3. During operation you'll notice moisture start to condense in the clear plastic bowl underneath the each of the black knobs on the front of the compressor.
|
|
| 4. When droplets start to form simply reach over and press up on the little silver button underneath the bowl to release the built up moisture. * Note: How often you need to do this will vary based on the weather and how much humidity is in the air.

5. When the airbrush is not in use it may be placed in an airbrush holder.

Draining the tankThe air tank will collect moisture and will need to be drained. How often is based on the weather and how much humidity is in the air.
